Writing an introductory letter

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious the Ever Merciful

Miss: Jehan Ashour had performed a training session for the students about how to write an introductory letter about yourself.

Teacher Jehan asked students to start with

Dear

Then introduce your name, age, family, hobbies, .. etc

Then if they like they can write a paragraph about their town or country.

Students have prepared their letters to be sent to their pen-friends in Simon Langton School after their Easter holidays.

زيارة لمركز القطان

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

قامت معلمة المكتبة/ المعلمة وداد فنانة والمعلمة الفنانة/ أماني المدهون بتنظيم رحلة لمركز القطان بمناسبة أسبوع القراءة. انطلق الباص بالمعلمتين والطالبات " صديقات المكتبة " للمركز في تمام الساعة التاسعة صباحاً.

انطلقت الطالبات للتعرف على هذا المركز وما به من نشاطات وامكانات تساعد على القراءة وتطوير النفس والامكانات.قامت الطالبات والمعلمتان بجولة في المركز للتعرف على محتوياته وأقسامه وعبرت الطالبات عن دهشتهن لامكانات المركز العديدة والراقية والمتطورة.قضت الطالبات ما يقارب الساعة في قسم القراءة حيث قران مجموعة من القصص ثم توجه الجميع لقاعة العروض.

هناك التقت مدرستنا بمدرسة إعدادية من مدينة رفح فقام مدرب في المركز بعقد مسابقة ثقافية استفادت طالباتنا منها كثيراً رغم خسارة مدرستنا أمام مدرسة رفح. ولكنهن سعدن بجو المرح والفائدة الذي عم المكان.

بعد انتهاء المسابقة تم عرض فيلم لشارلي شابلن حيث ارتسمت الابتسامات على وجوه الطالبات وعم جو الهرج والمرج المكان.

عادت الطالبات وهن يتحدثن عن الرحلة وما استفدنه منها.

Give instructions about the way

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious the Ever merciful

Mrs. Tahani Shweikh presented a demonstration lesson for 7th grade newly appointed teachers.

She has used computer and LCD to present some activities during the whole lesson.

She used also many teaching techniques for expliciting her ideas.

a road map for the area was drawn and displayed for the major aim of the lesson which is giving instructions about the way or describing the way to a specific place.

Supervisor: Mrs. Soha Dawoud attended the lesson with the company of Mrs. Nawal Al Mujaber the school principal and the newly appointed teachers in the Northern Gaza Area schools.

Teachers of Beit Lahia Girls' School also attended some scenes of the lesson focusing on sharing and participating.

Teacher Shewiekh organised class as groups which helped them greatly to communicate for asking about the way to a place and giving directions to the place.

Also pair work in private and public was used many.

Role play was also used for making the idea of asking and giving direction easy and visible for all attendants.

Worksheets were printed for the groups and checked post activities

The warming up was great, Teacher Tahani used easy-open plastic eggs for displaying her idea which was an attractive way for introducing our purpose and therefore acheiving our goals.

Everyone thanked Mrs Shewiekh for her excellent performance as well as for her invitation.

After the lesson was over, a workshop of discussion around procedures and techniques used during the lesson was presented and led by Mrs. Dawoud who discussed each step in details giving positive comments and more suggestions and solutions for any problems may occur while teaching similar lessons.

مؤسسة بسمة تقدم مسرحية وادي الزيزفون

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

قامت مؤسسة بسمة للثقافة والفنون بنشر البسمة على شفاه طالباتنا من خلال تقديمهم لعرض مسرحيتهم الجديدة بعنوان: وادي الزيزفون

والتي يبحث فيها الأبطال عن وادي الزيزفون من أجل تحقيق طموحاتهم وأحلامهم، فيصطدم الأبطال جميعا بالكثير من الصعوبات وتتفق شخصياتهم على أن الهدف لن يتحقق إلا بالتعاون والحب والتخطيط واحترام الرأي الآخر. وبالنهاية تضح الرؤية بشكل أكبر عندما يكتشف الأبطال أنّ كل منهم ما هو إلا وادي زيزفون من خلال بحثه عن ذاته. وتحقيقه لكل أحلامه وأهدافه.

الممثلون ومرحلة البحث والتشكيك بالآخرين.

طالباتنا يستمتعن برغم الحر بالعرض المسرحي.

في نهاية العرض قام الممثلون بعقد ورشة عمل مع الطالبات حول المفاهيم التي ناقشتها المسرحية. كل الاحترام والتقدير لمؤسسة بسمة للثقافة والفنون وعروضهم الهادفة.
