احتفال توزيع شهادات دورة اللغة الإنجليزية

احتفلت لجنة المرأة - الشمال بتوزيع شهادات دورة اللغة الإنجليزية والتي عقدت للمعلمات في منطقة الشمال في الفترة من 22/3/2010 وحتى 7/5/2010. تم خلالها تدريب المشاركات على العديد من مهارات اللغة الإنجليزية.

شاركت بالاحتفال: الدكتورة/ نعيمة المدلل، السيدة/ دينا سكيك، السيدة/ نوال المجبر، السيدة/ مدللة أبو لوز ومجموعة من أعضاء لجان المدرسة في مدارس الشمال إضافة للمعلمات المشاركات في الدورة والمدربتين/ جيهان عاشور وهالة عبيان.

أعربت الدكتورة/ نعيمة المدلل عن سعادتها البالغة لما استمعت اليه من تقييم الدورة من المشاركات، كما أعربت السيدة/ نوال المجبر مديرة المدرسة عن نجاح الدورة باعتباها تعقد للمرة الأولى على أن يتم تحسين الأداء وتجنب الأخطاء في المرات القادمة.

غمرت أجواء الاحتفال السعادة الغامرة للمشاركات وأعضاء لجنة المرأة والمدربات.

Give instructions about the way

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious the Ever merciful

Mrs. Tahani Shweikh presented a demonstration lesson for 7th grade newly appointed teachers.

She has used computer and LCD to present some activities during the whole lesson.

She used also many teaching techniques for expliciting her ideas.

a road map for the area was drawn and displayed for the major aim of the lesson which is giving instructions about the way or describing the way to a specific place.

Supervisor: Mrs. Soha Dawoud attended the lesson with the company of Mrs. Nawal Al Mujaber the school principal and the newly appointed teachers in the Northern Gaza Area schools.

Teachers of Beit Lahia Girls' School also attended some scenes of the lesson focusing on sharing and participating.

Teacher Shewiekh organised class as groups which helped them greatly to communicate for asking about the way to a place and giving directions to the place.

Also pair work in private and public was used many.

Role play was also used for making the idea of asking and giving direction easy and visible for all attendants.

Worksheets were printed for the groups and checked post activities

The warming up was great, Teacher Tahani used easy-open plastic eggs for displaying her idea which was an attractive way for introducing our purpose and therefore acheiving our goals.

Everyone thanked Mrs Shewiekh for her excellent performance as well as for her invitation.

After the lesson was over, a workshop of discussion around procedures and techniques used during the lesson was presented and led by Mrs. Dawoud who discussed each step in details giving positive comments and more suggestions and solutions for any problems may occur while teaching similar lessons.

زيارة مراكز اللغة الإنجليزية

قامت المدرسة برحلة إلى مراكز اللغة الإنجليزية في قطاع غزة حيث انطلق الرحلة يوم الاثنين الموافق22/3/2010 م الساعة والثامنة والنصف صباحاً ، ورافقت الطالبات المعلمة وسام صالح والمعلمة تهاني شويخ وأسماء أبو قايدة وكان خط سير الرحلة كالتالي :

أولاً :/اللكلية البريطانية للغات الواقعة في تل الهوي وقد رحب القائمين على المركز بالطالبات وقام أ . سعاد أبو ملموح بالتعريف بالمركز والخدمات التي يقدمها .

ثانياُ :زيارة مركز اللغة الأمريكية الكائن في مجمع السوسي قرب الجندي المجهول ولقد أبدي مدير المركز نزار نعيم والقائمين عليه اشد الترحيب وحسن الضيافة للطالبات وقامو بعقد مسابقات للطالبات وتقديم جوائز قيمة للفائزات منها خصم مبلغ 100 شيكل أو 200 شيكل عن ثمن دورة من الدروات التي يعقدها المركز .

ثالثاً : زيارة الاميديست حيث قام باستقبال الطالبات المنسق أكرم البلعاوي حيث رحب بالطالبات وقام بالتعريف بالمركز .
رابعاً / مركز كرير الكائن في الرمال الغربي بالقرب من قصر الحاكم حيث رحب القائمين بالطالبات وقامت سهام يعقوب التعريف بالمركز والخدمات التي يقدمها .

خامساً : مركز تدريب المشاريع الصغيرة smet التابع للأونروا الكائن في الرمال قرب برج ظاهر وقد رحب مدير المركز وليد الحلوت بالحضور .

استمتعت الطالبات بالرحلة وقامت الطالبات بإعطاء تقارير عن الزيارة للطالبات اللواتي لم يشاركن .

Unit 17, Lesson 2. Grade 7

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, The Ever Merciful

Teacher/ Tahani Showeikh had performed a training lesson for the 7th Grades students.

It was Unit 17, lesson 2

about helping tourists, giving instructions on the road, talking about places.

Teacher/ Tahani used IT, worksheet, cards in her training lesson.

She also used pair work, group work, acting as a warming up and other activities.

Students were excellent participants and effective interactors

School prinicipal and her diputy assistant thanked teacher Tahani for her performance.

All teachers of English staff had attended the lesson and they also thanked Miss Tahani for inviting them to her training lesson.

They also thanked students for excellent participation.

Educational Games

In the Name of Allah, The most Gracious the Ever Merciful

Mr. Maher Sharaf, supervisor of English language teachers, had asked Miss Jehan to perform a session for newly appointed teachers in the Northern Area on behalf of him while he was travelling out.

Miss Jehan has prepared the session which was entitled " Educational Games " and presented it at 11:00 am at Jabalia Girls' Prep. School " B " and it lasted till 1:00 p.m.

Teacher Jehan Started with a brain teaser about " Teaching sterotypes" then she gave each participant a balloon in order to write down a teaching stereotype on it. After participants finished, they all talked about their sterotypes and classified them into positive and negative. Balloons holding negative teaching stereotypes are exploded with a pin.

After that, Teacher Jehan used the LCD screen to give more brainstormings about the definition of a game. She quoted from the German language the definition and asked participants to comment on the definition.

They gave their opinions breifly.

Teacher Jehan asked participants to work out a new activity by matching both halves of the proverbs about animals.

Participants liked this activity too much specially the new proverbs and they tried their best to guess their significances.

Then a debate has been arranged. Teacher/ Jehan divided participants into two groups. Group one was the group of teachers who use games inside their classrooms. Group two was the group who don't use games inside their classrooms. Each group talked about their purpose of using/not using games and reasons behind using/not using them. It was so funny and useful.

Trainer exposed participants into a cartoon about a classroom and she asked trainees to elecit from the cartoon the factors of how to choose a game.

Trainer also asked participants to work in pairs and write the game criteria.

The last phase of the session was an application for some games.

Trainer wrote down games on pieces of papers and folded them. Participants chose their pieces of papers and then play the games written on the papers with the other participants and act if they were students.

They were so happy when performing and presenting new games in front of their collegues.

Evaluation sheets were distributed among them. Most of them were happy with the activities and gave good reaction.

اجتماع مع طالبات البرلمان الطلابي

اجتمعت المعلمة المرشدة/ آمال ظاهر مع طالبات البرلمان وذلك لأهداف عدة من بينها:

- التعزيز على القيم والأخلاق من خلال سلوكيات طالبات البرلمان وكيفية العمل على بث السلوكيات الإيجابية بين الطالبات.

- العمل على تعزيز دور مجلس الفصل دون التعدي على صلاحية أحد.

- العمل على نشر المحبة والاحترام بين طالبات الفصل الواحد وبين الفصول.
كما تم عرض أسطوانة خاصة بالسيد مدير عمليات الوكالة السيد جون جنج تتحدث عن دور الوكالة ومساهماتها الفعالة في تنشئة اللاجيء الفلسطيني.
